To cry or not to cry?

Help a sister out.

Depends. Try reading Dr. Ferber's book. He is a child sleep expert. The first few chapters talk about the science of sleep and then the later chapters address specific sleep issues and disorders. His method for sleep training really worked well for us. He encourages you to let babies cry for a few minutes (when they are old enough), then go in and reassure them, then let them cry a little longer, you repeat the steps until they fall asleep. It's a process, but it works and it isn't heartless. And once your sweet baby sleeps you'll all be happier in your house (including Little Kenzi).
